Case study · flower studio · Valencia, Spain

Before: 10 bouquet videos. After: the studio's shop window in 15 seconds.

Yuliia runs Jardín Creativo, a flower studio in Valencia, and makes every bouquet by hand. She sent our bot 10 short phone videos and three sentences about her idea: a new shot every 2 seconds and a Spanish caption on every cut. The idea was hers. Our job was to turn it into a Reel that stops the scroll and leads people to the studio's profile. Yuliia asked for the first version to be more dynamic, so we rebuilt the Reel to the beat, following a trend among florists worldwide. This is the version she posted.

Before and after

On the left, the chat with Yuliia: her idea in a few messages and 10 phone videos. On the right, the Reel we put together from them (in Spanish, for her customers in Valencia). Same bouquets, nothing re-shot.

I'll send them one by one because they upload badly17:29

The reel will have different flower bouquets, and every time the picture changes I need an overlay with different lines like «the most beautiful bouquets in Valencia», «The bouquet of her dreams», «She wants exactly this bouquet». Something like that, but in Spanish16:44

Something from the current trends16:42

Hi bot, make me an Instagram reel from the videos I'm about to send you16:42

27 September

Yuliia sent 10 videos and 5 messages

  • 10 separate phone videos, 3 to 11 seconds each, 80 seconds in total
  • Not a word on screen: what the studio is and where it is, nobody can tell
  • Every bouquet is beautiful, but on its own it is just another flower video in the feed
  • The idea came in three sentences in Russian, the Reel had to be in Spanish
After
  • First shot: the boldest bouquet and «Los ramos más bonitos de Valencia»
  • 10 bouquets in 15 seconds: cuts exactly on the beat, a punch-in on every one
  • Her three sentences in Spanish, five more written by us in the same tone
  • Original royalty-free music, written for this edit
  • The ending at the studio entrance: @jardin_creativo_vlc and Valencia

Why this Reel works

Raw footage sells nothing on its own. What sells is a Reel that gives a reason to keep watching from the first second, a story people want to watch to the end, and a clear next step for the viewer. We build every Reel, post and carousel from these three parts, so the content works for requests, not for show.

Here is how these three parts come together in a Reel with no voice at all, only shots and captions.

01 · Hook

A bold «the best in town» instead of «we have nice flowers»

CuriosityProvocationFOMOShock numberViewer's painParadoxQuestion to the viewerPromise of benefit
Los ramos más bonitos de Valencia · «The most beautiful bouquets in Valencia»

This is Yuliia's line, and we put it first. Every flower shop writes «beautiful bouquets», but «the most beautiful in Valencia» is a claim people want to argue with or check. The city name filters the audience at once: someone in Valencia hears that this is about them and close by.

For this line we picked the most striking shot of all 10 videos: a huge bouquet of red roses. A bold claim needs proof right away, otherwise the viewer won't believe it and scrolls on.

02 · Storytelling

A catalogue that reads like a story

  1. Claim. «Los ramos más bonitos de Valencia»
  2. Dream. «El ramo de sus sueños», the bouquet of her dreams
  3. Desire. «Ella quiere exactamente este ramo», this is the one she wants
  4. Why give flowers. «Flores que hablan por ti», «Doble sorpresa para ella»
  5. Proof of craft. «Hecho a mano, con amor»
  6. Question. «¿Cuál te llevarías?», which one would you take
  7. Action. the studio entrance, @jardin_creativo_vlc and Valencia

The first three captions talk about «her», so they speak to the person who gives the flowers. The viewer sees not just flowers but a hint: this is what she wants. Then come reasons to buy and proof that everything is made by hand, and the question at the end hands the choice back to the viewer.

The cuts land exactly on the beat, each one with a short punch-in, and within a bouquet the camera goes from a wide shot to a close-up. The eye keeps getting a new bouquet and a new line, so people watch to the end, and 10 bouquets in 15 seconds work as a shop window for the whole studio.

03 · Call to action

A question that is easy to answer, and a place to come to

«¿Cuál te llevarías?» · @jardin_creativo_vlc · Valencia

«Which one would you take?» is the easiest answer in the world: one word in the comments, «the red one» or «the pink one». Comments lift the Reel's reach, and everyone who picked a bouquet is already a warm contact the studio can message. The post caption holds the second step for those ready to buy: «Pide el tuyo por mensaje directo», order yours by DM.

The last shot is filmed at the studio entrance and shows the profile and the city. The studio is a physical shop, so only people in Valencia matter: the city in the call to action filters out random viewers from other countries.

What we did

  1. Watched all 10 videos.80 seconds of raw footage; from each video we took the best 2 seconds: the whole bouquet, no blurred or dark moments.
  2. Rebuilt the order. The boldest bouquet goes first under the boldest line, the studio entrance with its flower wall goes last, where the call to action sits.
  3. Wrote the captions in Spanish. We translated Yuliia's three lines and put them first, then wrote five more in the same tone: one bouquet, one idea.
  4. Made the captions part of the shot.Glass labels in capital letters appear together with each new shot and cover neither faces nor bouquets.
  5. Chose the music.Yuliia asked for something trending. A track from the Instagram library can't be baked into the file, and Instagram mutes someone else's song baked in. So the Reel got its own royalty-free music, with the cuts landing on the beat. She can add a trending sound in the app if she likes.
  6. Rebuilt it after her feedback.Yuliia asked for the first, 21-second version to be more dynamic, with more interesting transitions. We looked at how florists around the world edit bouquets right now and took the strongest trend: editing exactly to the beat. New music was written for the Reel, the cuts went onto the beats, each got a punch-in and some got short white flashes, and two extra captions came out. The Reel got 6 seconds shorter, and this is the version she posted.
  7. Wrote the post caption. In Spanish: about the handmade work, a question for the comments, an invitation to order by DM and Valencia hashtags.

What we needed from the florist

10 short phone videos and three sentences about the idea. Nothing else.

It works for any shop window: film your products as usual, between other things, and send them to the bot. Shot order, captions, translation, music and editing are on us.
